A busy hot Sunday morning found that I could not travel far for a Car Show this morning. That’s not to say I settled for the Milford Cars and Coffee at the Grill 603
. The crowd was mellow and the Cars like the weather were hot.
We had representation from the Milford Police Department offering Coffee to the attendees. I very much like that the police department participated in this type of outreach to the community. Talking and joking with them proves that they are not just cops, they are human beings like the rest of us who have a job to do. Cool guys who are very down to earth who enjoyed rubbing elbows with us gearheads. We tried to convince one of them to go get his Corvette. Maybe next time.
Some gorgeous cars showed up and Cars & Coffee runner Wade had his Fox Body Mustang on hand. Super cool guy to listen to talk about his love of his car. He truly has a passion for his car and is doing a spectacular job of bringing her back to her glory.
A couple of other corvettes showed up and a stunning original Mustang with an inline 6 that was a truly a sight to behold. I gotta say though that I’m a sucker for the 2000 Black Trans Am complete with WS6 handling and with less than 7ooo miles…. All original and breathtaking to look at. Thank god he took the Keys out and the police were there… Grand theft auto would have possibly been in my future.
