2023 Marque of the Year

1923 is being officially recognized by The MG ‘T’ Society as the date that the first MG Sports car was produced, it was the Raworth-bodied Super Sports. This would make 2023 the 100th Anniversary of MG. So, it’s obvious that MG will be our choice for Marque of the Year at The CT MG Club’s British By The Sea Gathering on June 4th 2023.
While we will be celebrating all MG’s for this special anniversary, our Marque of the Year Class will be called EARLY MG’s THRU 1955 and would include any MG produced thru 1955, such as TF, TD, TC, TA,TB, SA, SV, WA, Y Type, MMM, Sedan etc.
Our other (7) MG Classes of “newer” MGs would stay the same, being voted on separately.
I will post more as all of the details are figured out.
